Have a few questions regarding our services?

We are usually booked for the next 6-8 weeks so plan your project in advance. However, we often have people postpone and can sometimes accommodate you sooner

Not usually. If the floor needs any substantial repairs, please attach some close up photos and we can arrange for one of our joiners to come out and see you. Otherwise, if the floor is in good condition, we can give you an accurate estimate with just photos and measurements.

Yes, the process is virtually dust free! We need you to clear the floor space before we arrive but there’s no need to remove curtains and pictures etc.

We would much rather we didn’t have to, but can make it work if there is no other option. This will come at an additional cost.

Curing times vary between finishes. Please see our finishes page to decide which one works best for you. For all floors we recommend – No spills or mopping for at least 72 hours. Remove shoes and wear socks only during this period.

Yes we can spot repair damage within the board with a special resin mixed from the sanding dust of your floor. Bigger issues may require our joiners to repair in advance of us starting the job. We do not fill gaps between pine floor boards.

Yes we can change the colour of most floors with coloured oils or stains although this process is slightly more expensive than just a straightforward sand and seal. Some floors aren’t really suitable for staining such as maple or tropical woods like mahogany.

We can discuss colours through email to get an idea of what you hope to achieve. Then on the day of the job you can peruse our sample boards to make your choice. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee exact results as each person’s floor is different. As the natural wood tones come through, they have effect on the colour outcome
